It’s January, but I’m thinking of summer. I decided to make a ton of chip and dip dishes. They aren’t really tall enough for me to call them bowls. I have one that I received for our wedding that’s from Italy. It’s a similar shape to the ones I’m making. But…I’m making the dip part way bigger. I find there’s never enough dip! And I’m hoping folks that come to my shows will appreciate the extra space too.

Here’s one out of the kiln
Here’s two videos, one of me throwing one of the dish and one of me trimming it. Trimming is when you carve out a foot on an almost-dry pot. I’ve been sharing a lot of speeded up videos on Instagram, but I’ve decided to put up some normal-time videos for a change.
I have two out of the kiln and many more drying and waiting for their turn. Here’s a short video of me altering one (like the one below on the left).

My husband and I are planning on having adjacent booths this summer at one or more fairs. Here’s his work (Zeke Lunder, ZKO Design)
Stay tuned for our final schedule sometime in Spring. Here’s what we have so far.
Hope to see you this summer in the mountains!
